In this article it talked about all the different experience that George dodge had as a kid groing up in Vervan, Germany. While he was about six yeras old some of the most amazing things, he believes happened. For example he had seen Indians for the first time and was scared to death. he also witnessed cattle being drowned int he mud. Pluse he had seen one of the first train go through Germany.

I feel that this picture represent this era in American history during the 30's. This is because this is one of the many struggles that blacks had to go through during their lives. This sign not only seperated people but it also make them feel inferior. This was the main theme of the 1930's
Ialso believ that there was a sene of one race being better tan the other. During this time they alwys gave the african americans what was left. In this picture it show that there is a black man getting water from a cooler. From what is told to us about this time i can almost be positive that the cooler for whites might have been cleaner and maybe even better water.daynelle part 1
